Crowns and bridges
When you have a large cavity or break a tooth, a crown or bridge may be necessary. These will look and function almost like your own teeth. A crown is an artificial shell that reconstructs the natural shape of the tooth, while bridges are similar to crowns in a row, allowing for the replacement of multiple missing teeth with connecting units.
During your first visit, we will agree on the color and material, and take impressions of the teeth to be sent to the dental technician. We will provide a temporary solution for you to wear until the crown or bridge is ready. On your second visit, the crown or bridge will be attached to the tooth.
The cost of dental technology varies based on what needs to be done. Your dentist will inform you of this price, and we do not add any markup on dental technology services; you receive it at our cost price. If you have any questions, please email us at hei@blid.no or call us at 22 12 00 33.
